The iQOO Z9s, a 5G-enabled mid-range smartphone, has seen a slight reduction in its launch price in India. Initially introduced at Rs 19,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage configuration, the device is now listed at Rs 18,998. Select bank cardholders, including ICICI customers, may benefit from an additional Rs 1,000 discount.
The smartphone is available in two finishes: Titanium Matte and Onyx Green.
The iQOO Z9s features a curved AMOLED display supporting a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1800 nits of peak brightness. The device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset and is available in variants offering up to 12GB RAM and 256GB onboard storage.
A 5500mAh battery unit fuels the handset, with support for 44W wired fast charging. Users can expect extended usage times and reasonably quick top-ups.
The rear camera system includes a 50MP Sony IMX882 sensor equipped with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and an AURA light. iQOO has committed to delivering two years of Android updates and three years of security patches. The device also supports virtual RAM expansion, enabling smoother multitasking when physical RAM is limited.
The phone supports a 2000Hz instant touch sampling rate, targeting users who enjoy gaming. Audio output is delivered through a dual stereo speaker setup, enhancing the overall media consumption experience.
